So these two girls are sitting in front of me in bookstacks. The brown girl takes out a granola bar and starts eating and the white one looks at her and says “You’re not supposed to be eating in here.” The brown girl looks back at her and takes a slow exaggerated bite at which point I was going “oooh nooo she didn’t!” in my head. So the white girl continues to work and then the brown girl takes out ANOTHER bar and starts eating. The white girl looks around at other people, including me, to try to get some support but I just kind of give her a look like “tough luck.” Now they’ve both put distance between their adjacent seats and it’s painfully awkward watching them try to concentrate on their work while sneaking glares at each other.
